Limited Licensed Psychologist, MA, TLLP
EVERY human deserves a place in which they can feel safe, un-judged, and respected. Within that safety comes true growth, understanding, realization and acceptance for yourself and your story. I hope to walk with you on your personal journey in finding the grace and compassion to find your authentic self. I see clients with a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, transitions, and relationship issues. Some of my specialty areas include; eating disorders, trauma, and self-worth.
Before I became a psychotherapist, I was a Case Manager and eventually the Director of Training and Development, for a residential and semi independent rehabilitation center, where I provided advocacy to individuals involved in motor vehicle accidents.
I also worked for a non-profit doing outreach with adolescence utilizing workshops focused on music and dance as tools to instill empowerment messages, judgment free thinking and positive self worth.
My under graduate degree is in Sign Language Interpreting, with a focus on Psychology. I am passionate about Deaf culture, and I am fluent in American Sign Language (ASL). My hope is to make psychological services more accessible to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (HoH) community, and can help be the bridge to accessing care.
