(she/her/hers)

My name is Katie Griffin and I am a therapist with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology. I deeply believe in the potential of each individual’s ability to heal through support, consistency, and compassion.  As a therapist, I promise to always hold the hope for you, especially in moments when you may feel that you’ve lost your way.  It is my passion to support and guide clients to a place where they feel whole again and are able to create a meaningful life.
I have experience working with a wide range of clients in both outpatient and partial hospitalization settings, as well as specialized in eating disorder treatment at a partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient level of care. I have worked closely with individuals struggling with self-injurious behavior, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, depression, and OCD.  I am continually learning the most recent research to continue providing excellent care for my clients. I utilize an integrated approach to therapy and focus on a humanistic approach, as I believe that each client is unique and deserves individual attention and care. I also borrow skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in order to help clients who may be struggling with emotion regulation, relationships, or behaviors that may be creating distress.
It has been a lifelong dream of mine to be able to help others who are struggling with their current reality, and I believe I bring a great sense of presence and connection to my work as a therapist.  I look forward to starting this journey together!
